Pie is a delicious meal with many variations. It is easy to make and tastes heavenly! Today, you can surprise your loved ones with a fantastic healthy Sunday dinner. Serve with salad and freshly baked bread.
1.2 cups flour (3 deciliter)
3.5 oz butter (100 grams)
4 tablespoons water
0.8 cups light cream (2 deciliter)
¼ tablespoon salt
½ tablespoon pepper
7 oz diced chicken (200 grams)
8.8 oz mixed mushrooms. (250 grams)
3.5 oz cheese (regular and feta) (100 grams)
Mix flour and crumbled butter. Add water and knead the dough well. Cover up and let it rest in the refrigerator for about 15 min. Press the dough into a round pan, including the sides. Use a fork to prick the dough before preheating, ca 15 min at 392 F.
Fry leek, chicken and mushrooms in a pan.
Whisk cream, eggs, salt and pepper. Take the pastry out of the oven and spread the chicken mix evenly. Pour the egg mixture over, and sprinkle with cheese on top.
Bake the pie until golden and firm, about 40 minutes at 392 F (200 C). Sprinkle with parsley before serving.
