The World’s Biggest Gingerbread Town

PepperkakebyenEvery December since 1991, a huge gingerbread town is built in the city of Bergen.

Thanks to contributions from kindergartens, schools, business companies and thousands of individuals, the event has become a success and is known as the world’s biggest gingerbread town.

The spectacular exhibition last from November 24th through New Year’s Eve.

If you want, you can buy a set where you can put together your own gingerbread-house, inspired by Bergen’s many wooden houses.

The income goes to Save the Children.
