In Norway, many are hunting moose that is considered ideal for roasts and casseroles. Norway is a ‘hunting nation’, and here are some of the animals and birds we shoot and eat: Moose, deer, roe deer, hare, reindeer, grouse, duck, Capercaillie, etc. But are we barbarians? No!

Norwegians are known to eat a lot of strange things, but ThorNews can reassure our readers that whale meat no longer is on the menu. The reason? It is almost impossible to obtain it. If you do not live in Northern Norway and know someone with a boat and a harpoon.

If it had not been for whale meat, potatoes and carrots, many Norwegians had starved to death during the past decades.
